A Message from Dean Menon
At the USF Health College of Nursing, we're expanding our programs, facilities, and enrollment with a clear vision: to shape the future of nursing, one Bull Nurse at a time.
Our students are immersed in hands-on simulations, evidence-based clinical practice, and global health experiences that extend far beyond the classroom. They’re problem-solvers and change-makers, meeting patients where they are—in clinics, communities, and across continents.
The heart of our mission is preparing nurses who lead with compassion, confidence, and clinical excellence. In 2024, we proudly graduated the highest number of students eligible to be registered nurses in the state of Florida—and we’re just getting started. With nearly 2,000 students across three campuses (Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee), our college continues to grow to help address the nursing shortage.
For the fourth consecutive year, the USF Health College of Nursing’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program has been ranked No. 1 among Florida’s public universities by U.S. News & World Report. This year, the program also reached No. 23 nationally, continuing our upward momentum and solidifying our reputation as a leader in graduate nursing education.
Whether you’re a future student, healthcare partner, or community member—there’s a place for you here. I invite you to explore our website, learn more about our programs, and come visit us in person. Meet our dedicated faculty, staff, and students who make the College of Nursing one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking programs in the country.
We’re proud of our mission. We’re proud of our momentum. And we can’t wait to welcome you into our Bull Nurse family.
Go Bulls!
Sincerely,
Usha Menon, PhD, RN, FAAN, FSBM
